We will be cooking up some great new spring menus with more "hands on" classes. Chef Fredy, who is a former fish specialty chef, shares his expertise in a hands on fish class. Pastry Chef Gail Duoff teaches a series of hands on dessert classes on Saturdays. Chef Chris Mueller is back with more great classic Italian menus. I am also excited to teach one of my favorite summer menus with my own best ever recipe for Mini Greek Turkey Burgers. Chefs Pendry and Cooper are back with great new menus, like Vegetarian Tapas and Summer Entrée Salads.

This spring we have in stock beautiful ceramics from around the world. Vietri and Modigliani from Italy, Juliska and Casafina from Portugal, Bridgewater Pottery from England, Japanese stoneware from Tampopo, and American pottery from ceramic artists Aletha Soule and Frances Palmer. Almost all of our pottery is dishwasher safe, and much of it is very high fired, chip resistant and oven safe. Whether you are looking for a dinnerware set, one great serving or bakeware piece, or a special wedding gift, you will find something wonderful in one of our ceramic lines.

Spring is time to lighten and freshen your linens and decorative accessories. New linens from all our popular vendors Couleur Nature, Xochi, Karen Ballard, Kim Seybert, and Garnier Theibaud are already in the store. We also have new beeswax candles in all kinds of beautiful fun patterns, and glittered pastels, as well as custom colored and molded candles from Beeskeep. For a great gift or to freshen your indoor air we also offer the finest soy based scented candles from Kobo, Beautea, and Cucina.

We will be hosting a first ever Spring Tabletop Week May 5th-10th. Stop in to learn more about our dinnerware and linens lines. During this week, we will have special in store promotions. (To choose table linens please bring in your table dimensions and a piece of your dinnerware) On Tuesday May 6th we will host a Ceramic and Linen Trunk Show & Party! We will be cooking with Casafina and Juliska. Anica Heyman will be tasting great summer wines and I will be "setting" summer tables. Bring a friend and come get some great ideas for summer entertaining. During this event we will be giving a 15% discount on all special orders for linens, dinnerware, flatware and more. This has been a hard winter for all of us and a difficult time for me personally due to my father's death last October. Thank you so much for all your support and understanding. It has meant a lot to me.
